RT7313 is a critical conduction mode PFC controller, an active power factor correction (PFC) controller operating in critical conduction mode, designed for use in AC / DC adapters, electronic rectifiers, and medium power converters (<300W). It meets the regulation of grid current harmonic adjustment. Due to the use of critical conduction mode and feedforward control technology, it can get a power factor close to 1 in a wide range of input voltage and output power.

The gate driver composed of a push-pull output circuit has a 600mA current output capability and a 800mA current draw capability. This powerful driving capability enables it to drive high-power MOSFETs, which can greatly improve the conversion efficiency. The RT7313 has an ultra-low start-up current (≤20μA), which supports reducing the power consumption in standby mode in a prohibited manner, making it easy to meet the requirements of various energy-saving specifications such as Blue Angel, Energy Star and Energy 2000.

It integrates perfect protection functions such as input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, and cycle-by-cycle current limit to obtain a robust design, and uses very few external components to obtain a cost-effective power converter power factor Correction plan.
